Samsung debuted new Galaxy AI features with the Galaxy S26 earlier this year, and many expected most of those features to trickle down to the Galaxy S25 with the stable One UI 8.5 update. However, that did not happen. Now, a new rumor claims that a future update could bring two Galaxy S26 AI features to the Galaxy S25 series.
Tipster Tarun Vats claims that a future software update will bring Priority Notifications and Summarize Notifications to the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Edge, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. It is rumored to arrive sometime in June 2026. If the information is accurate, the next software update could include more than just security improvements.
There is still no credible information regarding whether Samsung plans to bring the 24MP shooting option in the stock Camera app to the Galaxy S25 series.
Other missing features on the Galaxy S25 series include the AI-powered Finder app and Now Nudges.
After ending the One UI 8.5 Beta Program a few weeks ago, Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 8.5 update to most eligible Galaxy phones and tablets.
